Bruges Information
IN THE CITY
Bruges has an impressive historical and cultural heritage. The historic city centre has just about everything to offer. The historic buildings, monuments and churches that enclose the many enchanting little squares are a delight to the eye, and create a pleasing, convivial atmosphere.
The numerous little bridges, narrow alleys and canals are colourful in every season. Always different, but always breathtakingly beautiful.
The many monuments tell the history of Bruges. It is a melting pot of different styles of art, such as Baroque, Gothic and Romantic, each with its own story. These have all been preserved in an extraordinary way since the Middle Ages. The city tells its own story and provides the requisite romance for its many visitors.
Bruges offers everything you could possibly wish for: the many shops, numerous monuments and Bruges museums provide enough variety to enchant you for a stay of several days.
Bruges would not be Bruges if it were not distinguished by its wealth of small squares with delightful terraces and picturesque restaurants. You will be stunningly surprised by a wide range of delicious dishes: from traditional local specialities to international haut cuisine.
This whole won Bruges the justly deserved title of UNESCO World Heritage City.
It is a must for city trip, and we will happily help you to make a unique experience of it.
